Stephen Wild (born 26 April 1981 in Wigan, England) is a semi professional rugby league footballer for the North Wales Crusaders. A Great Britain and England international representative forward, he previously played for the Wigan Warriors and Huddersfield Giants and most recently Salford. Wild signed for Wigan from local amateurs Wigan St. Patrick's. He joined Wigan's first team after progressing through the lower ranks at the club, making his debut in 2001. He made his first representative appearance in 2002 for Lancashire. He was signed by Huddersfield in 2006 and agreed a new contract keeping him at the club until 2009. He has been used as a / at Huddersfield, but he has previously played in the and in the s.
